Vis a Vis

Vis a Vis is a Spanish television series of dramatic and suspense genre, this is produced by “Globomedia” for “Antena 3” and, later, for “FOX España”.

This is a series base don life in a women’s prison, where the main character is Macarena, that being influenced by her boss, she commits various crimes related to scam and account theft. Macarena is caught by the police and is taken to the “cruz del sur” jail.

Macarena is sentenced for 7 years in a jail surrounded by dangerous women, in which is Zulema, she is called the most dangerous recluse from jail and makes sure that macarena lives a true hell.

Macarena enters the prison center being an insecure and defenseless person, but little by little she will transform into a completely different person in order to survive in jail. Everything happens between betrayals, alliances and the search for a large sum of money supposedly hidden.

This series consists of 4 seasons and a spin-off titled "vis a vis: the oasis". the first episode premiered on April 20, 2015 and the spin-off was released on April 20 of this year by FOX.

I love this series because it has a lot of suspense and the plot focuses especially on women and what they are capable of achieving.
